Interesting Fact: Ride the Lightning is the last Metallica album to credit former lead guitarist, Dave Mustaine (now frontman of Megadeth); he wrote most of the songs ‘Ride the Lightning” and ‘The Call of Ktulu’. He was kicked out of the band in 1983, prior to the recording of the album Kill ‘Em All, for which he is credited for the songs ‘The Four Horsemen’, ‘Jump in the Fire’, ‘Phantom Lord’ and ‘Metal Militia’.
